Service NOW Consultant – ServiceNow Development Oversight
Role Summary:
The Service NOW Consultant will oversee the development, migration, and implementation of ServiceNow, ensuring alignment with business objectives and high-quality delivery. The consultant will work closely with an outsourced development team, providing strategic direction, governance, and validation of technical deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Oversight & Governance:
• Define the ServiceNow roadmap, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Oversee the adoption of ServiceNow Pro Plan features, including AI-driven automation, performance analytics, and predictive intelligence.
2. Technical & Functional Validation:
• Provide expert guidance on ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CSM, SecOps, and other Pro Plan features.
• Validate configurations, integrations, and custom developments before deployment.
• Ensure smooth data migration, maintaining data integrity and security.
3. Quality Assurance & Risk Management:
• Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and provide feedback to the development team.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and potential issues, ensuring mitigation strategies are in place.
• Maintain documentation for governance, change management, and compliance.
4. Stakeholder & Change Management:
• Engage with business users to define requirements and manage expectations.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to ensure seamless adoption.
• Ensure ServiceNow capabilities align with enterprise service management goals.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Deep expertise in ServiceNow architecture, workflows, and modules.
• Experience with ServiceNow Pro Plan features (Predictive Intelligence, Performance Analytics, etc.).
• Strong project governance, stakeholder management, and ITSM knowledge.
• Ability to oversee an outsourced development team and ensure best practices.
