Job Role: Oracle Functional Consultant
Location: Dublin , Ireland ( Hybrid Model )
Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Oracle Functional Consultant to join our team. The Oracle Functional Consultant will play a crucial role in implementing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle applications to meet the organization’s business requirements. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including business users, technical teams, and management, to ensure the successful implementation and optimization of Oracle solutions.
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their business processes and requirements, and translate these into Oracle application solutions.
Solution Design: Develop functional specifications and design Oracle solutions that align with business needs, leveraging best practices and Oracle modules.
Configuration and Customization: Configure Oracle applications to meet business requirements. If necessary, work with technical teams to develop custom solutions.
System Testing: Perform system testing and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the system operates as intended.
Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation of configurations, customizations, and business processes within Oracle applications.
Training and Support: Provide end-user training and support to ensure the effective use of Oracle applications. Address and resolve user issues and queries.
Change Management: Assist in change management activities, including the assessment of the impact of system changes and the development of change control processes.
Project Management: Manage or contribute to Oracle implementation projects, including planning, resource allocation, and timeline management.
Optimization and Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimization and propose solutions.
Compliance and Security: Ensure that Oracle applications are compliant with relevant regulations and industry standards. Implement security best practices to safeguard data.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Information Technology).
Proven experience as an Oracle Functional Consultant, with in-depth knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud applications.
Strong understanding of business processes in areas such as finance, supply chain, human resources, or customer relationship management.
Proficiency in Oracle configuration and setup, as well as experience with Oracle modules related to the job function.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between business users and technical teams.
Project management experience is a plus.
Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Associate or Professional) are advantageous.
Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud expertise.
Functional and technical knowledge of Oracle applications.
Business process analysis and design.
Configuration and customization of Oracle solutions.
System testing and quality assurance.
Documentation and presentation skills.
Change management and project management.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting.
Training and support for end users.
Compliance and security awareness.
